The Film Society Of Lincoln Center, located at 165 W 65 street, has shown many great films this year, and one of them is Andrei Tarkovsky’s “Solaris”, a meditative journey set in a science fiction setting but strangely similar to our own. The film is in the Criterion Collection. The Center will be showing it twice, on:
Thursday, December 21st, 2009, at 1 PM and at 6:30 PM.
Hope to see you there!
Dear sir:
ReplyDeleteMy name is Noah Sanders and I run a blog called Criterion Quest. A friend, while searching for my Criterion Quest, had stumbled across your Criterion Quest. I'm ecstatic that there's another person out there equally as excited to peruse the entirety of the Criterion Collection from start to someday finish.
My only qualm is this: naming your blog The Criterion Quest is a bit like directing a zombie related pop video and calling it "Thriller"." I've been working my way through the Criterion Collection for years and have been jotting down the exploits for one year, one month, thirty-eight days, eleven hours and forty minutes, and I'm not trying to say that another adventurer should be discouraged, I just wonder if you could possibly invoke a name change.
Good luck on your endeavors.
Noah Sanders
